How do I sign up for a class?

Use the signup form on the class page or send a message — whichever is more convenient.

How do I pay?

You can pay using Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, or Apple Pay.

How do I cancel?

Send a message anytime before class to let us know — no formal cancellation process, just a heads up so we know you're okay.

How do I get ready to join?

  • Use a charged phone, tablet, or computer
  • Place it where you can see and hear the teacher clearly
  • Check your internet connection
  • Silence notifications
  • Adjust your camera and mic as needed

Do I need yoga experience?

Not at all. Classes are open to complete beginners — no experience needed.

What if I have an injury or health condition?

You're still welcome to join. Gan is considerate of students with health conditions and can offer modifications as needed.

What equipment do I need?

A mat or towel is recommended. Blocks, straps, and other props are optional — use what works for you.

Do I need a Zoom account?

Yes, you'll need a free Zoom account to join.

Do I need to have my camera on?

That's up to you.

How many people are in each class?

At least two students, often more. Classes are small and personal.

Are classes recorded?

Recordings are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you need to miss a class, get in touch and we'll see what we can do.

What language are classes taught in?

Classes are in English. Gan can also assist in Japanese if needed.

What are the monthly modules? Do I need to start at the beginning?

Each month focuses on a themed set of poses. You can jump in at any point — no need to start from the beginning of a module.
