Classes

A one hour yoga class is $10 per screen. That means if you have a friend or family member with you sharing a device, you all can do yoga together for only $10.

We practice Hatha Yoga which includes a wide variety of Asana (body postures). Each Asana uses various parts of our body and muscles which makes us stable, flexible, strong, and healthy.

What do I need for class?

Preparing for an online yoga class involves a few simple steps to ensure a smooth and focused session. By taking these steps, you'll be well-prepared for a fulfilling and focused online yoga session.

Set Up Your Space

Choose a quiet and clutter-free area with enough room to move comfortably. Lay out your yoga mat and have any props, like blocks or a strap, nearby.

Check Your Equipment

Make sure your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) is charged and positioned where you can see and hear the instructor clearly. Test your internet connection to avoid disruptions.

Choose Appropriate Attire

Wear comfortable, breathable clothing that allows for easy movement. Avoid anything too tight or restrictive.

Gather Necessary Props

If your class requires props, such as a bolster, blanket, or yoga blocks, have them ready beforehand. This ensures you can seamlessly transition between poses.

Inform Household Members

Let others in your home know about your yoga class schedule to minimize potential disruptions. If possible, close the door to your practice space for added privacy.

Connect Mindfully

Join the online class a few minutes early to settle in. Adjust your camera and audio settings as needed. Consider using headphones for a more immersive experience.

Create an Ambiance

Set a calming atmosphere with soft lighting and perhaps some soothing music. Diminish any potential distractions by turning off notifications on your device.

Stay Hydrated

Have a water bottle nearby to stay hydrated during the class. Take sips between poses if needed, but avoid large or distracting movements.

Inform Your Instructor of Any Concerns

If you have any injuries or health concerns, let your instructor know before the class begins. This allows them to provide appropriate modifications.

Embrace a Positive Mindset

Approach the online yoga class with an open mind and a positive attitude. Be present and fully engage in the practice, allowing yourself to reap the physical and mental benefits.
